SETUP MENU
The following buttons and switches are valid in the
SETUP MENU:
Joystick Controller: Moves the cursor to the
desired item on the menu or table.
CAM (SET) button: Executes the setting or selec-
tion.
MON (ESC) button: Escapes from the program-
ming mode or menu.
Numeric buttons: Enter any numerical input.
+1 CAM INC button: Selects a mode or parameter
forward.
–1CAM DEC button: Selects a mode or parameter
in reverse.
HISTORY FWD button: Selects the next page or
step.
HISTORY BACK button: Selects the previous
page or step.
● To escape from the SETUP MENU
1. Press the ALT button. The LED indicator on the
button lights up.
2. Press the SET UP button to escape from the
SETUP MENU
The menu disappears from the selected monitor.
The LED indicator on both buttons goes off.
The SETUP MENU provides a way of controlling func-
tions that are not accessible by a direct operation.
Access to the SETUP MENU is limited to operators with
the proper operator's level.
● Access to the SETUP MENU
1. System Log-in.
Refer to Log-in on page 50 for details.
Caution: To prevent unauthorized access, be sure to
change the Password preset at the factory.
2. Select the desired monitor for viewing the SETUP
MENU.
Refer to Monitor Selection on page 50.
3. Press the ALT button. The LED indicator on the but-
ton lights up.
4. Press the SET UP button to allow access to the
SETUP MENU as shown below.
The LED indicator on the ALT button goes off and
the Indicator on the SET UP button lights up.
Note: The SETUP MENU is initially set to the default
values. It can be programmed to limited access
to certain operator levels.
If the SETUP Menu does not appear on the
selected monitor and the PROHIBITED indica-
tor light up, press the MON (ESC) button to
reset.
