Using the [Motion Picture] Mode Menu

Applicable modes:

For details on [Motion Picture] Mode menu settings, refer to P48.

This sets up the data format of motion pictures.

Note

• When recording in Wide & Zoom Dual-Shooting, the camera may make use of settings made

for other Recording Modes.

• This setting is not available for 3D recording.

[Rec Mode]

[AVCHD] Select this format to record HD (high definition) video for playback on

your HDTV using an HDMI connection.

[MP4] Select this format to record standard definition video for playback on

your PC.
