Chapter 3 Setting Up

Select “04 SMTP AUTH Password”

and enter the SMTP AUTH Password

using the Keyboard, and then select

“OK”. (Up to 30 characters)

Select “06 POP Server”, and enter the

POP Server Name or IP Address

using the Keyboard, and then select

“OK”. (Up to 60 characters)

z .If you select “No” for DNS Server in step 11

on page 6, enter the POP Server IP Address

instead of the POP Server Name.

Enter the Port Number, and then

select “OK”.

Select “07 POP User Name” and

enter the POP User Name using the

Keyboard, and then select “OK”.

(Up to 40 characters)

Select “08 POP Password” and enter

the POP Password using the

Keyboard, and then select “OK”. (Up

to 30 characters)

Select “05 POP before SMTP”, and

select “Off” or “On”, and then select

“OK”.

z “POP before SMTP” is one of the User

Authentication methods at the time of

transmitting an Email. It is the system which

gives permission for the use of the SMTP

server by accessing the specified POP

server before the transmission.
