Adjust the remote unit’s

antenna so that it is vertical

and slide the POWER switch

on the remote unit to the ON

position.

oThe IN USE/RANGE

indicator will flash for a few

seconds while the remote

unit searches for a clear

channel.

Check that the IN USE/RANGE

indicator is solid green. The

indicator will remain on for

about 30 seconds.

olf the IN USE/RANGE

indicator is amber or red,

move the remote unit closer

to the bases unit until the

indicator turns green.

Start your communication

application.

oThe IN USE/RANGE indicator

will light while in use.
